Visit Book World in Prague!

Among others, some of our authors shall be presented in the frame of the accompanying programme of this year's 22nd Book World Fair and Festival in Prague.  

• On Tuesday, 10th May 2016, at 20.00 p.m. join us in Kavárna LIBERAL (Heřmanova 6, Praha 7-Holešovice) and listen to important Slovenian poets: Barbara Korun, Iztok Osojnik and Bernarda Jelen

Barbara Korun will present the book Pridem takoj (Soon Back) – awarded the best poetry collection of the year 2011 prize – Czech title Přijdu hned, translated by Hana Mžourková.

Iztok Osojnik will present some of his poems in Czech translation and his thorough thinking on literature and society.

Bernarda Jelen will complete the event as a voice of younger generation of Slovenian poets.

The event is organized by lecturers and students of the Department of Southern Slavic and Balkan Studies at the Charles University, Faculty of Arts, and Centre for Slovene as Second and Foreign Language at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Arts. KUD Police Dubove publishing house was honored to help at coordination of the project.

• On Saturday, 14th May 2016, 17.00 p.m. you may come to exhibition grounds Praha Holešovice (Areál Výstaviště 67, L210, left wing), and get a signature of Radka Denemarková. Slovenian edition of her novels The Devil by the Nose and A Contribution to History of Joy (translated by Tatjana Jamnik) were published by KUD Police Dubove publishing house.
