Corinne Brenko

Corinne Brenko is a historian, essayist, journalist, and podcaster. 

She obtained her MA in Eighteenth Century Studies at King’s College London focussing on race, gender, the processes of exploration and ‘Othering’. She is also interested in the shift of representation of femininity and female sexuality that took place in Western Europe during the Enlightenment period.

Fascinated by strong stories (and the questions they engender), she investigates story-telling through the lens of creative writing, radio broadcasting, and cultural history.

After having spent nearly a decade behind the microphone as a radio journalist and host, nowadays she mainly experiments and works on podcasting formats.

She writes in Slovenian, Italian, and English.
